James Brown Arena
NEW JAMES BROWN ARENA
In July 2024, the city broke ground on an all-new James Brown Arena. Built on the site of the old arena, this world-class venue will transform entertainment in downtown Augusta. Slated for completion in 2027, the new arena will boost seating by 25% and will offer a wide array of amenities like meeting rooms and suites.
BELL AUDITORIUM RENOVATION
Bell Auditorium, adjacent to the James Brown Arena, has just gotten a well-deserved makeover. An extensive $20 million renovation, completed in May 2024, has cemented the auditorium’s status as Georgia’s premier venue outside of Atlanta. The Bell now features top-tier lighting and sound, a larger lobby, revamped concession areas, and a spacious and svelte VIP club.
NEW HOTELS IN AUGUSTA
Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, you’ll find several new hotels in Augusta, GA. Want to hold meetings in a historic property with modern amenities?
